Velskoendraai is situated right at the entrance to Clanwilliam. Our menu is affordable and innovative and we use mainly fresh produce that is in season & what is available locally. We also offer a unique rooibos tea tasting experience.
We`re a family restaurant with a play area for children. We bake our own breads and cakes and even host private or corporate functions for up to 60 people.
Most popular on our menu, is our Velskoen Full Breakfast, our Roosterkoeke and traditional foods like Tripe Waterblommetjie-bredie and Whole Lamb neck.

Within the 7 Clans of Rooibos you have more than 100 flavoured/blended rooibos teas.
From natural, herbal, fruity and sweet to green, spicy and flower – a variety you can't afford to pass by.
Do a tasting or order any of these from the menu and don't miss out on our lovely baking.
We also stock other rooibos products so come in and experience for yourself the warm hospitality of the one and only rooibos teahouse in the world.

Our Farmers market and gift shop supports local producers from surrounding areas.
